A Stage for Innovation | A Prize for Excellence

We invite young vascular surgeons, fellows, residents, and researchers to present their work at the Poster Presentation Competition during Vascular Art 2026.

This platform celebrates challenging cases, original research, and innovative techniques in vascular and endovascular intervention, with outstanding contributions recognized during the closing ceremony.


Eligible Topics

Posters may cover (but are not limited to):

  • Complex or challenging clinical cases
  • Research in vascular/endovascular surgery
  • Innovation in techniques or technologies
  • Device development or off-label applications
  • Limb salvage strategies
  • Novel access approaches or bailout maneuvers
  • Interdisciplinary vascular management

Judging Criteria

Posters will be evaluated by a scientific panel based on the following:

  • Presentation Style (5 points)
    Clarity of oral explanation, posture, and engagement.
  • Research Quality (5 points)
    Scientific soundness, originality, and relevance.
  • Visual Design & Layout (5 points)
    Readability, graphics, color use, balance, and organization.

Judges will also consider:

  • Response to questions and discussion quality
  • Completion and clarity of the presented work

Poster Format & Dimensions

  • Screen Size: 55-inch LED TV
  • Orientation: Landscape (Horizontal)
  • Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD)
  • File Format: High-resolution PDF or JPG
  • File Size Limit: Max 15 MB
  • Submission Deadline: (to be announced)

Recommended Layout & Structure

Organize your poster into 3–4 well-defined sections to improve readability and logical flow. Suggested structure:

  • Title & Author Information
  • Introduction & Objectives
  • Methods & Materials
  • Results
  • Conclusion & Key Takeaways

Use visual elements such as graphs, images, and infographics to communicate results effectively.

Ensure all text is readable from a distance on screen:

  • Title: ≥ 85 pt
  • Headings: 36–60 pt
  • Body Text: ≥ 24 pt

Use clear, sans-serif fonts such as Arial, Helvetica, or Calibri.

Design Best Practices

  • Contrast: Use high-contrast color schemes for background and text.
  • Simplicity: Avoid overcrowding. Maintain visual hierarchy.
  • White Space: Allow breathing room around sections and visuals.
  • Images: Use high-resolution figures and limit the use of small text within images.
  • Animations or Videos: Not supported on static posters—submit a video separately if needed.

Onsite Poster Logistics

  • Display Time: Posters must be mounted 2 hours prior to the session start time
  • Duration: Posters remain up throughout the day and must be removed at day’s end
  • Setup: Only Digital posters are allowed (no Physical print)
  • Presenters: Each poster may be presented by maximum 2 presenters
  • Engagement Time: Prepare for ~15 minutes per judge/visitor
    (10 min presentation + 5 min discussion)

Transport Tips

  • Do not ship posters to the venue or conference headquarters

  • Poster abstracts must be submitted through the Vascular Art website submission portal
  • Abstract format and deadline will be announced shortly — stay tuned
  • Acceptance notifications and display logistics will be emailed in advance
